A double edged sword to be sure as for some rabbits and deer are cute and desirable and to others they are pests. Bringing birds and butterflies to your garden can be as simple as providing them with a source of food, water and shelter. Birds and butterflies bring a garden to life. There is nothing more disheartening than slowly watching a patch of campanula disappear at the hands of a wily pocket gopher though.
