Located in the south-east Calgary community of Cranston, this semi-detached home was already landscaped but it had much more potential. Low maintenance was a priority as well as expanding the patio spaces for entertaining and relaxing.
Across the back of this property there is a 1.8m (6’) drainage right of way that restricts development. To mitigate this limitation we retained the edge of the patio with Pisa2 block and planted hardy shrubs within the right of way. A new back landing made from Pisa2 as well ties all the hardscape together. We were also able to incorporate a small patio with a cedar privacy screen in the front yard for a time when more sun is desired.
