Brick & Stone Pillars
Often fences, railings and gates are complimented by pillars. Masonry brick or stone are classic design elements and we also build cultured stone clad pillars on wooden structure. These often match the cultured stone used on the architecture as well as often being more economical to install. Pillars can be used to support gates, stand alone as address monuments or to define an entrance, or be used to compliment other design elements by building out deck pillars.
PRO LANDSCAPER TIPOn an acreage or estate gate we recommend hinging the gate on a steel post set beside the pillar. This makes for a strong gate and if something strikes the gate, like a snow plow, the pillar is less likely to incur damage.
