2017 POOLS, SPAS & PATIOS MAGAZINE
On news-stands now is the 2017 edition of Pools, Spas & Patios magazine. This is a Canadian publication with the focus on home pools, spas & patios, which includes landscaping. I have been privileged to write for them again this year. Look for my article on page 83 “Trends in backyard landscaping - The benefits of hiring a pro to achieve the ideal outdoor living space.” We all work in a digital age now, but there is still something very satisfying in picking up a print publication and going out onto the deck or patio to read. Thankfully most aspects of landscaping remain analog and magazines don't go 'ding' !
Aside from these articles being a good promotion for the company, it makes me think and reverse engineer the things I do every day. Just what are the major trends in residential landscaping? Often most concepts come back to the same basic things that nearly all clients key one. Privacy. Low maintenance. Curb appeal. Re-sale value for their home. Functional beautiful spaces. And chiefly, problem-solving. “This is what we want / this is what we are dealing with, please help” and THAT is what we do every day. Contact us, we’ll do our best to help.
