Heritage Pointe Feature 2
The main criterion for this Heritage Pointe property was to incorporate a pool into the existing landscape. We had the benefit of an established pergola and a fire-pit in the corner of the property but otherwise it was a clean slate. The pool obviously becomes the focal point of the garden and stamped concrete was selected for the patio and pool deck spaces.
Swimming pool projects are always technically challenging and this was no different. Two retaining walls were constructed to level the space. A drypack rundlestone wall retains the slope next the house along with stamped concrete stairs. The pool features a motorized cover to retain heat and chemicals and secure the pool when not in use. We built a pool shed to compliment the home and existing pergola and planted trees for privacy and a new 1.8m (6’) ornamental iron fence to secure the property. Blending the grade back into the existing lawn areas and plantings provided primarily by the homeowner, an avid gardener, completes this stunning garden.
